Withdrawals: how they work and why one gets stuck
A withdrawal is requested in the Withdrawal section of the Exness Personal Area. Most stuck withdrawals have one of a few causes: verification not finished, a different payment option from the one used for deposits, an extra check of the payment, or not enough free margin because positions are open.
In short
- Withdrawals usually go back to the payment option the money came from.
- Processing times may vary depending on the chosen payment method.
- Only Exness can see and release a payment; nobody outside the Personal Area can “recover” or speed it up.
Requesting a withdrawal
- Sign in to the Exness Personal Area or the Exness Trade app.
- Open Withdrawal and choose the payment option. Options used for deposits are usually offered first.
- Choose the trading account and enter the amount.
- Confirm with the code Exness sends.
- Follow the status in the transaction history.
Why a withdrawal is pending or rejected
| Cause | What to check or do |
|---|---|
| Verification not complete | The verification section of the Personal Area shows what is missing. Verification help. |
| A different payment option from the deposit | Withdraw first to the option used for deposits, up to the deposited amount; the Withdrawal section shows what is available. |
| The deposit option is no longer available | Ask Exness Support which option to use instead; do not open a second profile to get around it. |
| Not enough free margin | Open positions need margin; the amount available to withdraw can be lower than the balance. Check free margin before requesting. |
| An extra check of the payment | Exness can ask for a confirmation such as a statement or a photo of the card with numbers covered as it instructs. Answer only inside the Personal Area. |
| Details of the receiving account do not match the account holder | Withdraw only to a payment account in the account holder's own name. |
Writing to Exness Support about a withdrawal
Open the Support hub in the Personal Area and put everything in the first message:
- the date and amount of the withdrawal and the trading account number;
- the payment option and the status shown in the transaction history;
- any message shown on the screen, word for word;
- for “withdrawn but not received”: a statement or screenshot from the bank or wallet showing that nothing arrived.
A complete first message usually saves a round of “please provide more details”.
Offers to “recover” money are a scam
Ignore anyone who offers to release, speed up or recover a withdrawal for a fee — on WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook or in reviews. They have no access to Exness accounts. A real payment question is solved only through the Personal Area.
Questions people ask
How long does an Exness withdrawal take?
It depends on the payment option. Processing times may vary depending on the chosen payment method. The time for each option is shown in the Withdrawal section.
Can I withdraw to a different card or wallet than the one I deposited with?
Usually the money first goes back to the option used for deposits, up to the deposited amount. The Withdrawal section shows which options are available for the account.
Can Partner Support speed up my withdrawal?
No. Partner Support cannot see or change payments. It can help put together a clear message for Exness Support.
